Undergraduate students taking 6 or more credit hours and graduate students taking 3 or more credit hours are eligible to purchase the insurance Policy 2021-505-2 on a voluntary basis.

Enrollment:
Step 1: Once you have submitted your insurance application online (enrollment link below), The University of Alabama at Birmingham will verify your eligibility.

Step 2: Once The University of Alabama at Birmingham has verified your eligibility and approved your insurance application, you will receive an email with additional details and instructions on how to make your payment. Enrollment is not complete until UHCSR has received your payment.
